Everything the mind experiences, all the stress and the pressure, the higher thoughts and the creativity, the drive and the sense of urgency, start from sensations first captured by the body. Those sensations, that primary input data comes from our environment.

Do something elemental today. Go for a swim in the sea, stand out in the rain for a minute, touch the earth and feel it in your hand, smell a flower and experience its being in the act. Each action connects us to something primary, something deep. It makes us exit the self-created bubble of pressure of our obligations and it transports us into a deeper moment in our ancient past. It awakens a primal sense of us being part of something bigger, of having a role in a tableau that has a multitude of parts and each of those parts, experienced, makes us feel simpler, more real.
